Born to poor Iowa lettuce farmers, as a young boy I counted on my superior
physical abilities and athletic prowess to carry me out of poverty.
Unfortunately, an accident involving a sack of cantaloupes and several
tons of styrofoam peanuts left me incapacitated for many years. Only
recently have I fully recovered, and now, too old to actually play baseball
anymore, I've decided to ramble across the country on an old Dirt-Master
tractor, visiting baseball stadiums and seeking my fortune. These
photographs are my legacy.
