The Good: Seeing a game here evoked no strong sentiments in me at all. The ballpark has some history (first opening in 1934), but the infield rug and the massive renovations prior to the 1990 season have rendered it basically a new stadium. The "box" seats were comfortable enough and the food was OK, but nothing seemed particularly special about the place.

The Not So Good: The artificial turf is the most glaring irritant here, and the multitude of poles (not girders) propping up the skybox level creates too many obstructed seats in the grandstand. |
