The Good: Warner Park is a bare-bones stadium that is still a pretty fun place to watch baseball. What it lacks in physical comforts and architectural sophistication it makes up for with the enthusiasm of its fans, who were really into the game and quite loud when I visited. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly (no one forcing you back in your seats), and there were plenty of places to move around to -- I was able to walk around the stands, and indeed, in and out of the ballpark itself, with no questions from anyone. It's also set in a city park, and has plenty of parking.

The Not So Good: The place just seems a little insubstantial -- just three sections of open air stands, with a very basic roof propped up overhead. Also, smoking is still permitted anywhere in the park. |
