Year Opened: 1937
Capacity: 2,500 (1999) Team: Clinton LumberKings League: Midwest League (A) LF: 335 CF: 390 RF: 325 |
The Good: Wonderful example of WPA ballpark design; Cool art deco facade over main entrance; Cheap tickets, food, and beer; It's in Iowa. This ballpark is like a time warp back to a simpler era, and is just a great place to see a game.

The Not So Good: About 3/4 of the grandstand is behind the backstop net; Bugs in May and June; The team may not be around long since the league thinks attendance is too low (but remember, Clinton only has a population of about 28,000). |
