The Good: Well, it's in Iowa, so that's something. Burlington's quite a small city (I think the smallest with a full-season affiliated franchise), so it's a lot more laid back here than in the big cities. Like at most midwest ballparks, the prices are very reasonable and the people friendly.

The Not So Good: Community Field is the worst ballpark in the Midwest League. The field is lumpy, and the seating area is a seemingly random assemblage of bench seating, chain-link fences, mesh netting, and metal poles. In fact, there's virtually nowhere in the entire stadium to sit without looking through a net or a fence. Rumors constant circulate that the franchise (which is currently community-owned) will skip town for greener pastures before too long. |
